2016 VW Golf GTI Clubsport now with manual option in GCC

Following the arrival of the 40th anniversary Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport in April this year, the Middle East now gets the Clubsport with a 6-speed manual transmission option.

With acceleration from the 265 hp 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine from 0-100 kph in 6.3 seconds, and a boost function allowing up to 290 hp for a short time, the model is the region’s most powerful production GTI. The Golf GTI Clubsport with manual transmission is currently available for pre-booking in showrooms across the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman. Pricing in the UAE will start from Dhs 138,000. The DSG automatic is still available, at around Dhs 145,000.

Volkswagen designers have given the Golf GTI Clubsport a completely new front bumper, side sills, rear diffuser, multi-part roof spoiler and exclusive forged alloy wheels.
