2018 Mercedes-Benz E 63 S Wagon revealed in Geneva

Following the release of the all-new Mercedes-AMG 63 S sedan, the German manufacturer has revealed the wagon version at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show..

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S wagon is powered by the familiar 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8, which churns out 603 hp and 850 Nm of torque, coupled with a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and 4Matic all-wheel drive system to lay down the power on the road effectively. Variable torque distribution, dynamic engine mounts, and an electronic limited-slip differential are part of the arsenal used to tame the 603 horses.

The performance figures are obviously not on the sloth’s side. The 0-100 kph sprint is completed in just a bit over 3.5 seconds. Continue flooring it, and it can reach to an electronically capped top speed of 290 kph.

As a wagon, the 2018 E63 S AMG does not miss out on any of the practicality aspects. It offers a cavernous boot with 991 liters of space when the rear seats are kept upright. The external aesthetics remain the same barring the rear wagon bit.

The 2018 Mercedes AMG E63 S wagon was displayed at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March after which it will head to the European markets. It is highly doubtful we will see this offered in the UAE or other GCC markets.
