Zenvo TS1 GT supercar gets 1163 hp

Zenvo is a lesser-known supercar manufacturer from Denmark that made a mark in 2009 with their 1000 hp ST1 supercar. Zenvo managed to roll out just 11 ST1 cars till now. At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, they revealed their revamped creation — the Zenvo TS1 GT. The new car celebrates the 10th anniversary of the company.

Apart from the similar design, the TS1 GT is a completely new car. Even the previous turbocharged and supercharged 6.8-litre V8 engine made way for a completely new unit. The new mill is a 5.8-litre V8 which is fed by two superchargers. While the ST1 had to make do with ‘just’ 1104 hp, the new TS1 GT gets 59 more horses which take the final output to 1163 hp. 1100 Nm of torque accompanies these horses.

With such firepower at its disposal, the Zenvo TS1 GT will accelerate from 0-100 kph in 2.8 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 375 kph. A 7-speed sequential racing gearbox is claimed to give the Zenvo “ultrafast gearshifts” which is comparable to that of a Formula 1 car. The Torsen limited-slip differential handles this power and feeds it to the rear wheels. 

Even though there had been made no official word about the price tag, the Zenvo TS1 GT is believed to cost about US$ 1.22 million, if not more.
