All New 2024 Volkswagen SUV at GIMS Qatar 2023

Matthias Ziegler, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East unveiled the all-new Volkswagen Teramont, Volkswagen Touareg and the Volkswagen Tiguan. However, at the Geneva International Motor Show – Qatar other models from the brand including the Golf GTI, Amarok, ID. Buzz and T-Roc were also on display including the ID.4 GTX. Unfortunately, there is still no definitive launch date set on the ID range however we can expect to see the ID Buzz before the ID 4 in the Middle East.

The Teramont, Volkswagen Middle East’s best-selling vehicle, offers top-tier performance and versatility. The 2024 model also features significant interior upgrades. Larger headlamps, an LED strip that connects them and a mostly blacked-out grill bring some freshness to the face of the 2024 Volkswagen Teramont. A wide light bar stretches across the width of all the variants of the Teramont except the base model. This makes do with the standard lights that are not connected. Wheels get new designs, ranging from 18 to 21 inches. The powerplant is now all new. The existing VR6 petrol engine goes out, and in comes a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit. It produces 269 hp and 370 Nm, matching the V6’s towing capacity of 2260 kgs. This engine is paired only with an eight-speed automatic, while the customers can go either for the standard front-wheel-drive or an optional 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.
