DriveArabia.com has been acquired by dubizzle Group

We’re pleased to announce that DriveArabia has been fully acquired by Dubizzle Group, the unicorn business whose portfolio of brands include market leading property portal, Bayut, and UAE’s favourite online classifieds website, dubizzle.

Founded in 2004, DriveArabia.com was the first successful automotive website focused on the GCC and is currently a leading new car consumer portal for the region. With a loyal following and strong brand presence, DriveArabia is the go-to destination for many new car buyers searching for the latest new car prices, specifications and reviews.

DriveArabia was added to the dubizzle Group portfolio to further solidify their position in the regional automotive space, complimenting their flagship online marketplace, dubizzle Cars. This strategic acquisition underscores our mutual commitment to provide unparalleled transparency and value to all our users during their car buying journey, for both used and new car buyers.

We are also happy to say that the core DriveArabia team is intact. Marouf Hussain Chowdhury will continue as the Content Manager, while Mohamed Naeem will take on a role in Advertising. I will be around in a consulting role, as there are big plans for DriveArabia in the near future.
