2025 Lexus LX Launched in the UAE – Now with a Hybrid Powertrain

Al-Futtaim Lexus has launched the all-new 2025 Lexus LX Series in the UAE, bringing a fresh mix of luxury, performance, and electrification to the full-size SUV segment. The big news for 2025 is the debut of the Lexus LX 700h, the first-ever hybrid version of the brand’s flagship SUV. Also joining the lineup is the LX 600 Overtrail, a rugged new variant built for serious off-road capability.

The Lexus LX 700h is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 hybrid setup, delivering 457 hp and a massive 790 Nm of torque. The hybrid system integrates a motor generator with a 10-speed automatic transmission, ensuring power is efficiently distributed to all four wheels. Lexus claims the hybrid system enhances torque response during off-road driving while improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO₂ emissions by 22%.

A 98-litre fuel tank ensures extended driving range, while key off-road features like full-time 4WD, a Lo-range transfer case, and front and rear differential locks keep the LX ready for any terrain. Lexus also offers Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and Active Height Control to optimize ride comfort and handling across different conditions.

Overtrail Model for Off-Road Enthusiasts

Inspired by the Lexus Overtrail Project, the new LX 600 Overtrail is tailored for serious outdoor adventures. It features a distinctive matte black grille, black fender flares, black roof rails, and black door handles, setting it apart from the standard model. Off-road-ready 18-inch wheels, a front skid plate, and a centre differential lock add to its rugged appeal.

Inside, the Overtrail variant gets premium leather seats, wood accents, and a driver-focused layout. The differential locks and Multi-Terrain Select system help navigate sand, rocks, and more, while Crawl Control and Turn Assist make maneuvering through tight trails easier.

The 2025 Lexus LX continues to blend luxury with cutting-edge tech. The exterior design features triple-beam LED headlights with an Adaptive High-Beam system, soft-close doors, and a power tailgate with a kick sensor. The SUV’s commanding dimensions (5100mm L x 1990mm W x 1895mm H) give it an imposing road presence.

Inside, the dual-display Lexus Interface system includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch lower display for vehicle controls.
