Gargash Motors Launches GAC AION and HYPTEC EVs in the UAE

Gargash Motors has officially introduced AION and HYPTEC, GAC Motor’s next-generation electric vehicle (EV) brands, to the UAE market. The event showcased GAC’s latest electric innovations: the AION ES sedan, the premium HYPTEC HT SUV, and an exclusive preview of the HYPTEC SSR electric supercar.

Driving Toward a Smarter Future

GAC Motor, one of China’s leading automotive manufacturers, is pushing the boundaries of smart mobility under its “Smart Mobility 2027” vision. Focusing on AI-integrated cockpit systems, ultra-fast EV platforms, and next-gen connectivity, GAC has earned a place among the Top 10 Global Intelligent Vehicle Brands.

The introduction of AION and HYPTEC reinforces Gargash Motors’ commitment to driving the UAE’s electric transformation, in line with national sustainability and innovation strategies.

AION ES: Everyday Electric Mobility

AION represents accessible, intelligent mobility designed for daily use. The AION ES sedan is equipped with a 55.2 kWh battery delivering 100 kW of power and offering up to 442 km of range (CLTC). It supports 800V fast charging for added convenience and features a suite of advanced driver assistance systems.

Starting at AED 99,900, the AION ES includes an 8-year warranty and is available in colours like Pure White, Glamour Black, Ultra-fast Silver, and Holographic Silver.

HYPTEC HT: Luxury Meets Performance

HYPTEC is positioned as GAC’s premium EV line, fusing luxury with performance. The HYPTEC HT is a sleek SUV offered in two trims — Elite and Ultra — with the Ultra model boasting iconic gullwing doors. Powered by a 72.7 kWh battery, it produces 180 kW of power and delivers a 510 km range (CLTC), with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds.

Inside, the HT offers Nappa leather upholstery, massage seats, a 14.6-inch HD touchscreen, Dolby Atmos sound system, and advanced comfort features. Prices start at AED 177,900, backed by an 8-year warranty. Color options include Black, White, Silver, Orange, and Dark Red.

HYPTEC SSR: Supercar of the Future

Also previewed was the HYPTEC SSR — a high-performance electric supercar built on a 900V SiC platform. With a tri-motor AWD setup, the SSR delivers an astonishing 1,225 hp and 12,000 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 kph in just 1.9 seconds (Ultimate Track variant). It features a 74.7 kWh battery offering a range of 506 km (CLTC).

The SSR’s design includes a carbon-fibre body, active aerodynamics, and an AI-enhanced cockpit with dual displays, placing it firmly at the forefront of electric performance innovation.

Digital Ecosystem: GAC Customer App

Alongside the launch, Gargash Motors introduced the new GAC Customer Mobile App, enabling users to access remote features such as vehicle start, performance tracking, service booking, and ownership tools — with multilingual support.
