2025 Nissan Patrol PRO-4X makes regional debut with off-road upgrades

Nissan has officially launched the all-new 2025 Patrol PRO-4X in the Middle East, introducing a more rugged, off-road-focused version of its flagship SUV. This also marks the regional debut of Nissan’s PRO-4X sub-brand.

Patrol PRO-4X trim position

Positioned between the existing V6 Titanium and V6 Platinum trims, the Patrol PRO-4X is powered by a new 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine producing 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, the engine replaces the long-serving V8, offering more power and efficiency.

Adaptive air suspension with electronic dampers, a 34-degree approach angle, and up to 294 mm of ground clearance ensure this Patrol variant is properly set up for off-road action.

On the outside, the PRO-4X stands out with dark exterior trim, unique Lava Red accents, skid plates, and 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres. A three-slot grille inspired by the Hardbody pickup, red tow hooks, and PRO-4X badging further separate it from the rest of the Patrol lineup.

The rugged theme continues inside, with quilted leather seats featuring red stitching and PRO-4X embroidery. Nissan has also added NASA-inspired spinal support technology to reduce fatigue on long drives.

At the centre of the dashboard sits a massive 28.6-inch horizontal digital display, combining two 14.3-inch screens for infotainment and driver information. Google Built-In powers the NissanConnect system, offering voice-activated Google Assistant, Google Maps navigation, and seamless integration with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Audiophiles will appreciate the 12-speaker Klipsch premium sound system, while tech features like the 3D Around View Monitor, Invisible Hood View, and Ultra-Wide View cameras make navigating tight trails or urban streets much easier. There’s also a built-in air compressor for tyre inflation and an off-road kit for outdoor excursions.

The 2025 Nissan Patrol PRO-4X is now available across the Middle East, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC markets, through Nissan’s authorised dealerships. Pricing and specifications may vary depending on the country.
