2025 Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD Debuts in UAE with 702 km Range

Tesla has officially launched a new variant of the Model 3 in the UAE – the Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) – offering an impressive 702 km of WLTP-rated range, making it the longest-range Model 3 ever produced.

Available now from AED 164,990, the Model 3 Long Range RWD also claims the title of most energy-efficient Tesla to date, with consumption rated at just 12.5 kWh/100km. Tesla says this makes it the most efficient electric vehicle currently on sale in the UAE, delivering a segment-leading price-to-range ratio.

According to Tesla, this high efficiency is thanks to ongoing engineering improvements in drivetrain and battery technology, as well as smarter cost management. To illustrate, the company says the car can travel a full kilometre using the same amount of energy it takes to microwave a frozen meal.

This new variant sits above the regular Model 3 RWD (which starts at AED 154,990) and offers better range without stepping into the higher-priced dual-motor Performance territory. As with all Teslas, the car comes well-equipped out of the box, with standard features including:

• 9-speaker Tesla-designed premium audio system

• Ventilated front seats

• Heated front and rear seats

• 8-inch rear screen for media and climate control

• 360-degree acoustic glass

• Upgraded suspension bushings and cabin insulation

Inside, the cabin gets the same minimalist design and high-quality materials introduced in the latest Model 3 refresh. It features a quieter interior with improved ride comfort, while still maintaining sporty handling traits. Rear passengers now also benefit from a dedicated screen to control entertainment and climate settings.

Designed for those who do long-distance driving around the UAE, the Model 3 Long Range RWD is expected to appeal to road-trippers, commuters, and families alike. Tesla’s expanding Supercharger network, with over 200 stations across the UAE, ensures that range anxiety is largely a thing of the past.

Deliveries are expected to begin in September 2025, while the standard Model 3 RWD remains available for immediate delivery.
