Nissan Magnite debuts new 1.0L turbo engine in the Middle East
Nissan has introduced a new 1.0-litre turbocharged engine across the Middle East, delivering a balance of spirited performance, smooth drivability, and fuel efficiency. The new powertrain makes its regional debut under the hood of the Nissan Magnite.
The three-cylinder engine produces 99 hp and 152 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission. Efficiency is rated at up to 17.3 km/l, supported by technology like Eco Scoring and Eco Coaching to help drivers maximise every litre of fuel.

Borrowing mirror-bore cylinder coating technology from Nissan’s sports cars, the engine reduces internal friction and improves heat management, thereby increasing efficiency.
On the road, the Magnite is aided by Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, and ABS with EBD. Features such as cruise control with adjustable speed limiter, plus a 360° Around View Monitor, make city driving and tight parking easier.

Inside, the cabin comes with a 7-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, and a cooled glove box. Nissan also adds an air conditioning system with “PlasmaCluster Ioniser”, designed to improve air quality by filtering bacteria, mould, and allergens.
The all-new Nissan Magnite with its 1.0L turbo engine is now on sale across the GCC.
