The agreement will allow customers buying selected vehicles through dubizzle Cars to add a prepaid service contract at the time of purchase, extending the services available to buyers beyond the initial vehicle transaction.

The partnership was announced following a signing ceremony at dubizzle Group’s headquarters in Dubai CommerCity.

Prepaid maintenance available at time of purchase

Under the programme, buyers of eligible vehicles will be able to purchase a scheduled maintenance package alongside the vehicle.

Maintenance will be carried out through Al-Futtaim Auto Centers’ network of service centres across the UAE. The company provides servicing for vehicles from different manufacturers, rather than being restricted to brands represented by Al-Futtaim.

Customers will also have access to services including mobile servicing as well as vehicle pick-up and delivery.

The service contract is currently available for eligible vehicles listed through dubizzle Cars.

dubizzle expands beyond used-car listings

The new agreement is part of dubizzle Cars’ efforts to expand the services offered around buying and owning a used vehicle.

The marketplace already provides services including vehicle inspections, valuations, financing and insurance, with scheduled maintenance now being added to the offering.

Hossein RafatNejad, Commercial Director at dubizzle Cars, said buyers are increasingly looking beyond simply finding the right vehicle when purchasing a used car.

“Buying a car today is not only about finding the right vehicle, but also having confidence throughout the ownership journey,” he said.

He added that the partnership with Al-Futtaim Auto Centers extends dubizzle’s existing automotive services by providing customers with access to scheduled maintenance after purchasing their vehicle.

Al-Futtaim Auto Centers provides nationwide servicing

Al-Futtaim Auto Centers operates service facilities across the UAE and supports vehicles from multiple makes and models. Its network operates seven days a week and also offers mobile servicing and pick-up and delivery services.

Jean-Pascal Bourdier, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, said the agreement was designed to make vehicle servicing more accessible to dubizzle Cars customers.

“At Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, we provide expert care for all vehicle makes and models through one of the UAE’s extensive service networks, operating seven days a week,” he said.

The partnership forms part of dubizzle Group’s wider strategy to develop an end-to-end automotive ecosystem covering vehicle discovery, valuation, inspections, financing, insurance and aftersales support.

Scheduled maintenance packages are now available on selected eligible vehicles sold through dubizzle Cars in the UAE.
