Koenigsegg has once again raised the bar for production car performance, reclaiming the coveted 0–400–0 kph world record for homologated road cars. The run took place on August 7, 2025, at Örebro Airfield in Sweden, with factory test driver Markus Lundh behind the wheel of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut.

The Swedish super-hyper-mega car manufacturer Koenigsegg recently flew their wares all the way to California to attend the 2016 Monterey Car Week. The arsenal that they packed for the show included the Regera and the Agera XS, both homologated for use in the United States for the first time.
Returning to Geneva this year is Koenigsegg, with its latest creation- the Regera. Unveiled earlier last year at the same venue, the car is now ready for production, with more than 1500 hp at the tap.

And further helping their cause as they enter into their 20th year in the industry is the new Agera One:1, which after weeks of teasing, made its way into the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
