Engine downsizing is now the new normal. The big numbers, V12s and V8s are all on their way out, making room for smaller capacity engines. The latest, arguably one of the most controversial entrants to this list, is the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C63 S E-Performance that ditches a throaty V8 for an electrified 4-cylinder but with more power than ever.
Mercedes-Benz GLC is an essential model for the brand, as it is one of their main revenue generators. The popular compact crossover now enters its second generation, or third if you count the GLK, with a slightly larger body, improved interiors, and new powertrains.
Mercedes-AMG electrification continues with yet another launch. Once known for their explosive petrol engines, the brand is now focusing on electric cars. The recently launched Mercedes-Benz AMG 53 is an example of this move. But it also has a less-powerful sibling, the AMG EQE 43.
After what seems like the longest gestation period in automotive history, the much-hyped Mercedes-AMG ONE (unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show) is finally on the verge of being a production reality, with deliveries of the limited-edition hypercar commencing in the second half of this year.

In the Middle East, it is very easy to spot commercial vehicles with a manual transmission but there are many brands introducing automatic transmissions and demand is rising for them. Mercedes-Benz recently gave us a demonstration on the latest technology in their heavy trucks.
Mercedes-Benz EQS was the brand’s first venture into the fully-electric sedan market otherwise dominated by Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan. The EQS debuted a new sedan design language and now, this has spawned a smaller sibling for itself. Here is Mercedes-Benz EQE, trying to mimic the hierarchy that exists between the regular E-Class and S-Class.
The recently-launched Mercedes Benz EQS was a significant addition to the top rung of the brand’s EV lineup while the EQA entered the scene as a stepping stone to the marque. In a bid to expand their electric-car portfolio further, the Mercedes-Benz EQB debuts in China with seating for seven and a maximum power output of 288 hp.
