New Aston Martin DBS recently unveiled

This “modded” Aston Martin, called the DBS, was unveiled by the company a few days ago. For some reason, it didn’t interest me as much as the Honda Accord that was unveiled at the exact same time, so I didn’t bother reporting on it. Well, today is a slow news day, so here it is.

The DBS, based on the DB9 and featured in Casino Royale as James Bond’s ride, is powered by a hand-built 6.0-litre V12 producing 510 hp at 6500 rpm, 570 Nm at 5750 rpm, a top speed of 302 kph and a 0-100 kph time of 4.3 seconds.

Its 1695 kg weight is propped up by 20-inch alloy wheels, while it also features a six-speed manual gearbox, adaptive suspension and all the usual safety and luxury electronics.

Enough said for a sports car that will cost as much as a small island, while still getting its fancy ass kicked by a “cheap” Corvette Z06.
