European tuner ABT Sportsline is offering performance mods for the Audi Q7 V12 TDI. The standard turbodiesel 4×4 already happens to be the most powerful version of the ugly Q7 range, although it has thankfully never been on sale here, even after making appearances in the UAE for official photoshoots.
The Audi Q7 V12 TDI comes with 500 hp and 1000 Nm of torque as standard. Taking the same engine and tweaking the ECU further, ABT is boasting figures of 560 hp and 1200 Nm of torque while calling their creation the ABT AS7.
The Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard, as is a 6-speed automatic gearbox and the lack of low-range gearing. The tuner claims a 0-100 kph time of 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 258 kph for the 2.6-ton road-going trucklet.
Unfortunately ABT could not figure out how to make the pug-faced SUV look better, so they just gave up and offered a simple collection of alloy wheels up to 22-inch in size to fatten up that AS7.
The wheel collection is also available for the regular petrol versions. For the latest UAE prices and GCC specs for the SUV, check out the Audi Q7 buyer guide.
