2009 Dubai Motor Show in December

The Dubai International Motor Show is revving up to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year with an industry-leading show that reinforces its position as the top automotive event in the Middle East. The motor show which is held every two years will take place from the 16 – 20 December 2009, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai.

Despite challenging economic conditions, the Dubai International Motor Show, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) continues to attract the unwavering support from global leaders within the industry. Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Daihatsu, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, KTM, Peugeot, Renault, Shelby Super Cars, Mitsubishi, and Zenvo, with first time appearances from AC Cars and Luxgen, are already preparing for a big presentation at this year’s event.

Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre, said: “There is a real drive within the motor industry, and recent financial results suggest that most companies are showing gradual but steady signs of recovery. We have received definite commitments from many of the world’s leading manufacturers for this year’s Dubai International Motor Show. Companies are seeking to leverage their participation at this most influential event to stimulate sales turnover, and end the year on a strong note.”

Many of the top automotive manufacturers from Europe, North America and Asia have confirmed their participation, with a number of concept cars, new models and hybrid cars scheduled to make their international debut during the five day event.
