Brabus B63S-700 is beefed up Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6

2014 Brabus B63S 6x6
It’s tough, it’s fast, and most certainly is huge. That is what Brabus showcased at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Based on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6, the Brabus B63S-700 ticks all the necessary blocks for a desert enthusiast with the added need for speed.

The engineers at Brabus have managed to extract a massive 690 hp and 960 Nm of torque from the AMG 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 which came with 536 hp and 760 Nm of torque from the start. That will further be coupled to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The following power and torque bump comes via a B63S performance package. Hence, the 6-wheeled four-ton beast accelerates from 0-100 kph in 7.4 seconds.

They also add 2.9-inch downpipes and stainless steel variable exhaust system alongside a remapped ECU; to help with the power boost. Brabus also feeds in a new front spoiler, carbon-fibre hood scoop, LED and Xenon lighting and a black and red leather and Alcantara interior.

It also comes with 37-inch off-road tires, not only to prove its mean stance but also to keep up with the needs of the discerning customer in place. However, top speed is limited to 160 kph to prevent the tires from being shred.

There’s no release date mentioned or any statement about the number of vehicles that will be sold. But we’re sure expecting a handful of them to flash its way through to the GCC market.

Comments

  1. Ugliest motor I have ever seen! 😮

  2. Red interior not looking great. Red & Black combination will be nice

  3. Already the “normal variant” AMG 6×6 is an awesome offroader incomparable to none. Maybe Brabus felt that variant to be too ordinary for their customers’ tastes!
