AGMC Geely expands Sharjah presence with new showroom and after-sales facility

AGMC Geely expands Sharjah presence with new showroom and after-sales facility

AGMC, the exclusive distributor of Geely vehicles in the UAE, has expanded its presence in Sharjah with the opening of a new sales and after-sales facility, replacing the brand’s previous showroom in the emirate. The move comes in response to growing customer demand for Geely vehicles across Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.

Strengthening Geely’s UAE network

The new Sharjah facility joins Geely’s existing locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah, further strengthening the brand’s retail and service network across the UAE. The opening ceremony was attended by senior executives from Geely Auto Middle East, including CEO Tian Jinjun and UAE Country Manager Woodstock Liu, alongside representatives from AGMC and members of the media.

AGMC says the expansion is aimed at improving accessibility for customers in the Northern Emirates while enhancing the overall ownership experience through improved retail and after-sales support.

Larger showroom and upgraded service centre

The new facility features a 900-square-metre showroom capable of displaying up to 15 vehicles at a time. Customers can explore Geely’s full range, book test drives and access financing solutions on-site.

Complementing the showroom is a 2,000-square-metre workshop equipped with 21 service bays, a dedicated body shop with a paint booth, a washing area capable of handling more than 40 vehicles, and shaded parking facilities. The service centre is supported by a team of 21 technicians and includes dedicated customer reception areas and seating for service advisors.

Key Geely models on display

Among the vehicles showcased at the opening were the Geely Monjaro, the brand’s flagship SUV powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 238 hp, the popular Coolray compact SUV with a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine generating 172 hp, and the CityRay urban SUV, which shares the same powertrain and features advanced driver assistance technologies and a 540-degree camera system.

The expanded facility is expected to play a key role in supporting sales of these models as Geely continues to grow its market presence in the UAE.

Growing demand in the Northern Emirates

According to AGMC, customer response to the Geely brand has exceeded expectations since its launch in the UAE, prompting the need for a larger and more comprehensive facility in Sharjah. The company believes the new showroom will help elevate the ownership experience while supporting continued growth in one of the UAE’s key automotive markets.

Geely has been expanding rapidly outside China in recent years. The automaker reported global sales of 2.17 million vehicles in 2024, representing a 32% year-on-year increase, while exports reached a record 403,923 units. The company currently operates several automotive brands under the Geely Holding umbrella, including Volvo Cars, Polestar, Lotus, Lynk & Co and Zeekr.
