Pagani Zonda Cinque roadster convertible debut

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster
The Pagani supercar range is now being extended with a Roadster version of the Zonda Cinque. It will have a limited production run of only five pieces, just like the Cinque coupé.

All special weight-reduction measures adopted by Pagani in the Zonda Cinque have been implemented in the Cinque Roadster as well. The carbon-titanium chassis has been redesigned to compensate for the missing roof.

The Zonda Cinque is powered by a Mercedes-Benz AMG V12 engine, with 678 hp and 780 Nm of torque. Other features include a titanium exhaust system coated with ceramic, suspension made of magnesium and titanium, a Cima 6-speed sequential automanual gearbox, carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, and APP monolitic wheels forged in aluminium and magnesium, 19-inch in front and 20-inch in the rear.

The 1,210 kg roadster has a 47:53 weight distribution, and is capable of 0-100 kph acceleration in 3.4 seconds and 0-200 kph in 9.6 seconds. Braking from 100 kph to zero occurs in 2.1 seconds, and 200 kph to zero in 4.3 seconds. Maximum lateral acceleration is 1.45 G. Apparently, the aerodynamic aids of the car can generate 750 kg of downforce at 300 kph.

Each of the cars will cost Dhs 6.6 million, which is more than what most people will earn in a lifetime.
