Honda CR-V 2010 on sale in the UAE

The 2010 Honda CR-V is now on sale in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and throughout the UAE. The CR-V has been facelifted for 2010, but there are no changes under the bonnet.

We’ve already driven the new CR-V, and it is nearly impossible to tell the differences between the old model and the new one. According to Honda, the 2010 CR-V comes with a new grille, new front and rear bumpers, chrome-tipped exhaust tip and new 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels. Even the optional body kits and accessories have received a facelift.

Inside, all the interior trim panels receive new textures and revised colours, as well as improved seat fabric, floor carpets and thicker door grips. The centre-folding armrests up front are apparently wider and longer.

Standard features in the base RVi trim now include ABS, stability control, USB/AUX jacks, double-deck cargo shelf, body-colour door mirrors, chrome on the tailgate and an overhead “conversation” mirror. Front airbags are standard while front-side airbags are optional.

Additional standard features on the top RVSi model includes auto-dimming rearview mirror, HID with optional turning feature, chrome exhaust tip, sunroof, leather steering wheel and shifter, lights in sun-visor mirrors, and power-folding door mirrors. Leather is an additional option

Additional sound dampening and new seals supposedly offer up a quieter cabin, with revisions to suspension tune offering improved ride comfort without compromising handling. Unfortunately, the GCC version continues with the existing 2.4-litre engine, now re-rated at 168 hp, instead of the upgraded 180 hp version that is now available in the United States.

We’d expect pricing to start at Dhs 90,000 eventually, although it may be temporarily higher as some GCC dealers still try to offload 2009 models.

For UAE specs and prices, keep track of updates in the Honda CR-V buyer guide.

  1. the previous CRV had 2 problems that annoyed me

    1) road and cabin noise…2 high very irrating on long journies

    2) relatively weak AC, took a good 5 min in the summer heat to start cooling

mash do tell us if these issues have been mitagated.

  2. nice car i am going to buy it

  3. Ican tell one thing ‘excellent’ but there could have also been an eco system like the one honda civic 2011.2012,2013 models have and it could have been a less expensive with the front and rear parking sensors with it without hard cabin plastics and all the models should have airbags everywhereas you all know ‘SAFETY COMES FIRST’
THERE SHOULD HAVE ALSO BEEN A BRAKE ASSISST.

  4. how much is the crv 2010 model?
