Cadillac Tops Brands In AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Cadillac was ranked the top premium brand and its full-size Escalade won the Luxury SUV category, while the GMC Acadia, another GM SUV, won the Large SUV category, in a vote of vehicle satisfaction by consumers in more than 42,000 surveys compiled in the first quarter of 2010 by AutoPacific, a leading American market research firm.

“This award reaffirms Cadillac’s position as a luxury market leader, especially because it is based on our customers’ satisfaction and first-hand experience with their Cadillac vehicles. This is the third time in a row Cadillac takes the top spot, which shows that we are consistently meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations,” said Thierry Sabbagh, Regional Brand Manager, Cadillac, GM Middle East.

Cadillac led the premium brands ranking with713 points, eight points ahead of its nearest competitor, while the Cadillac Escalade won in the Luxury SUV category. With unrivalled refinement and comfort, the Escalade is the SUV of choice for top consumers in the Middle East.

The GMC Acadia also took top honours in the Large Crossover SUV category. Since its Middle East launch in March 2007, the GMC Acadia has set the benchmark for crossovers – the fastest growing vehicle segment in the region – with its good looks and refined comfort.

The Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are based solely on owner input. AutoPacific asks questions related to satisfaction rather than quality or reliability, which are the focus of other consumer surveys.
