Jaguar XJ Platinum concept coming to GCC in 2011

As part of Jaguar’s 75th anniversary, their design team has created the XJ75 Platinum Concept, a one-of-a-kind design project which was recently on display at the U.S. Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance show. The XJ75 Platinum Concept is a demonstration of the design customisation potential of the new XJ luxury sedan. This special-edition vehicle is slated to be available in the Middle East sometime in 2011.

The white-and-black themed Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept is based on the 2011 Jaguar XJL Supercharged equipped with the stock 470 hp supercharged 5.0-litre V8, ground-effects and skirts, pearlescent white paint, 22-inch brushed alloy wheels and exterior chrome elements that have been revised to either a dark chrome or gloss black.

The contrast theme continues inside with gloss pearlescent white air vents, veneers and diamond stitch suede inserts on the seats and headliner, with softgrain leather interior. Entertainment is provided by a 1,200-watt Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system with 20 speakers powered through 15 channels and state-of-the-art sound processing technology.

The XJ75 Platinum Concept centre console also houses a bespoke clock designed in partnership with the Bremont Watch Company. An independent British company, Bremont creates beautifully engineered and designed mechanical watches hand assembled in Switzerland.

Keep track of UAE prices and GCC updates in the Jaguar XJ buyer guide.
