German Rent-a-Car chooses Abu Dhabi Motors

Abu Dhabi Motors, the exclusive importer for BMW, BMW Alpina, MINI and sole dealer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, has concluded a deal with German Rent-a-Car to add an additional 150 new premium vehicles to the luxury auto leasing firm’s existing fleet.

As one of the capital’s leading luxury car and limousine rental companies, German Rent-a-Car has already invested in a host of upper-range BMW and Rolls-Royce vehicles from Abu Dhabi Motors that includes the all-new BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series, X5 and X6. This latest agreement adds to the initial contract signed in 2007 and brings German Rent-a-Car’s total BMW Group fleet to over 600 vehicles.

Commenting on the agreement, Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors said: “Abu Dhabi Motors has been a partner of German Rent-a-Car from 2007, and since then our relationship has flourished thanks to the natural synergy between our two premium brands. Our top-of-the-range models such as our BMW flagship 7 Series and the Rolls-Royce Ghost represent the best of luxury, automotive innovation and prestige. These are not only premier vehicles but aspirational status symbols that reflect powerfully on their owner whether it is an individual, company or hotel.”

The announcement comes as Abu Dhabi Motors enjoys one of its most successful periods ever – it is the number one performing BMW Group Middle East importer in 2010. Recently the company broke a record for selling the highest number of Rolls-Royce Motors Cars in one month, 18, has trebled its Rolls-Royce sales and is experiencing 38% growth in BMW sales over last year. 2010 will be the company’s best year in its 20 year history, thanks to brilliant products, investments in facilities and people, offering the highest options and the BMW Service Inclusive Ultimate after sales package, as well as maintaining its position as the company with the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the UAE.

Abu Dhabi Motors is also currently undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion plan which includes the redevelopment of its flagship Umm Al Nar Headquarters, a new showroom and service facility in Al Ain as well as a new Quick Service Centre in Mussafah.
