1967 Ford Shelby GT500CR Convertible by Classic Recreations

The 1967 Shelby GT500 convertible is amongst the rarest, most sought after collector cars around, and Classic Recreations have created their version of the car, one that was approved by Carroll Shelby himself before his passing.

The GT500CR 545 model features a 545 hp fuel-injected 7.0-litre V8 engine, built in-house at Classic Recreations. It also gets modern suspension bits, power rack-and-pinion steering and a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. Other features include Carroll Shelby signature rally series 1000 seats, 17-inch wheels and front and rear coilover suspension.

The GT500CR 900S gets power boosted to 780 hp with an F1-R Intercooled ProCharger supercharger. Other upgrades include the very essential 200 mph (320 kph) speedometer and racing-style bucket seats. The 900S also gets chassis upgrades, and wider rear wheels, wrapped with Goodyear tyres.

The exterior is available in five different colour schemes and features authentic Shelby Performance parts and a real Shelby LeMans racing fuel-tank cap. Each model comes with a power hand-stiched soft top, as well.

Every car comes with an official Shelby serial number, badges and is mentioned in the official Shelby Worldwide Registry.
