Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel Edition now in UAE and GCC

The 2012 Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel Edition was launched in the GCC this week, at an event in Dubai, coinciding with the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix. Additionally, there was an event held for potential customers to take a ride with Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel around the Al Forsan karting track in Abu Dhabi.

The car appears to be a warmed-over version of a regular Infiniti FX, but it is apparently the product of a collaboration between Vettel and Infiniti’s Chief Creative Officer, Shiro

Nakamura, featuring a 420 hp 5.0-litre V8 engine as well as F1-inspired technology including advanced aerodynamic devices and carbon-fibre components.

The Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel Edition is priced at Dhs 500,000 in the UAE, and similarly in other GCC countries, with only 50 cars coming to the region in total.

  1. DHs500,000?

    A Cayenne S (400hp) is for 366,000 and a Cayenne Turbo (500hp) is for 480,000.

    Infiniti…. you can :O <- (=====8

  2. agree. who spends frigging 500k on a car that is close to be outdated and that is far inferior to its competitors like porsche, bmw, and probably even range rover?!?!?!?!?!

    funny one

  3. Can be considered as a collector’s car. Even then the price is Unjustifiable.

  4. Believe it or not, Last generation FX was a superhit. Until the new Overpriced FX came 🙂

  5. im guessing this is already sold out?
crazy price to attract crazy buyers, the ones who dont mind spending extra for exclusivity.

  6. Do the Porsche/X6 etc come with a soon to be 3 time F1 world champion edition of which only 150 are made worldwide?????

I think not. Which is why Infiniti is asking 500k for this, although I actually think Infiniti is probably asking 400k, the extra 100k is the stealership stealing our money as always

The ones who were ready to buy last week got the special offer of riding with Vettel on hot laps, as seen here. Even I didn’t get to meet Vettel, his time is controlled by managers, charged by the second.

    • Next time inshallah Mashfique 🙂

    • Point. But BMW X series do have “M” … 555hp !!

    • Rahul, the X5M wasn’t developed with input from a F1 world champion. Vettel had a hand in the concept and even the design of the car.

And sorry, but the FX looks better than the X6, the X5 on the other hand is quite nice looking
