2013.5 Chrysler 200 S Special Edition 1
Carhartt, an apparel brand that was established by Hamilton Carhartt more than 120 years ago for “America’s industrious men and women”, have joined hands with Detroit’s finest to create the 2013.5 Chrysler 200 S Special Edition.

Both the exterior and the interior of the Special Edition have been given an appropriate re-work. Upfront, this midsize sedan is distinguished by a gloss black mesh grille accented with a platinum chrome grille collar, a lower front fascia in platinum black and platinum chrome fog light “spears”. The car’s profile invites changes like body-colour sill cladding, platinum chrome belt moulding and polished black 18-inch wheels. The wheels are wrapped in Goodyear 225/50-R18 tyres. At the rear, a body-colour decklid spoiler, platinum chrome light bar, rear valance with polished, fascia-mounted exhaust tips, unique “S” and black “200” badges.

The interiors have been given a “Carhatt” treatment as well, featuring a black water-resistant fabric, with the signature diesel grey Carhartt triple stitching accents on the leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, armrests and centre console. Black painted air vents, gear shifter, front cup holders and steering wheel buttons also add flavour to the cabin. The Special Edition also gets a Boston Acoustic premium sound system.

The 200 S Special Edition will be powered by the 283 hp Pentastar 3.6-litre V6 engine and will have the added advantage of a sport-tuned suspension.

The car will be produced in the second quarter of 2013 and will wear a U.S. starting price of the equivalent of Dhs 105,950 when it goes on sale later this year. It will not be offered in the GCC.
