Mazda 3 2014 debuts at Dubai Motor Show

2014 Mazda 3
The all-new 2014 Mazda 3 made its debut at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show this week. It is Mazda’s third new launch this year, following the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6.

The exterior of the Mazda3 gets the new Mazda “KODO” treatment, their new trademark design. It comes either as a 5-door hatchback or a 4-door sedan, made for the compact segment. Under the hood, the new SKYACTIV engines provide better fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions, although we’re not sure what the GCC specs are yet. We hear it will get 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre engines.

Inside also, the Mazda 3 gets a whole new interior. Highlights here include the Active Driving Display, Mazda’s new head-up display, and a rotary commander, redesigned to ensure drivers have control of their car’s infotainment features without taking their eyes off the road. Also, the new Mazda 3 features MZD Connect, the company’s new in-vehicle connectivity concept.

The new model will reach the UAE by April next year.

  1. The only thing that stands between me and the Mazda 3 has always been the sad, poor, pitiful engine and the low safety options. I am driving an extremely unexciting Peugeot 307 2.0L just because it trumps the Mazda 3 in these two areas, otherwise, the Mazda 3 would’ve been my first choice.

    • The new Mazda 3 is very different from previous models with options of 2.0L direct injection engine and 6 speed transmission as well safety features.

  2. In the US, the mazda 3 hatchback comes with the same 2.5 L 4 cyl engine found in the mazda 6, and that will make a nice hot combination, dont think they will offer it here though

  3. ooooo come on why cant they just get rid of the stupid 1.6 i mean for god sake every where else its 2.0 and 2.5 why are they doing this they give u a car with out dated engine and they even sell it more expensive than full option US price. tank god they didnt bring the rx8 here coz im pretty sure they would sell it with the stupid 1,6 as well

  4. when can we buy it ? At least April2014 ? i cannot wait for it ! when really it will be ready for the buyers to buy it !?

  5. Some options removed from Mazda but prices by “Galadari” are kept even higher in UAE which is truly ripping off customers. On the other hand they are so rigid in pricing, not even 1k discount.

  6. its in d showroom now, with 1.6 lit(105horses) & 2lit(skyactiv, 155horses)
    price range from 60 – 90k.
