Toyota TRD Pro Series package for 2015 Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner

Toyota TRD Pro Series package for 2015 Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner

Toyota TRD Pro Series 2014
The Toyota 4Runner SUV, the Toyota Tacoma midsize pickup and the Toyota Tundra fullsize truck are not offered in the GCC, but we’re sure many here wish there were, given the number of grey imports running around on UAE streets. Built in the United States, Toyota is now offering each one with a Pro Series package there.

Features on all models include TRD-tuned springs with Bilstein shocks, TRD front skid plate, TRD shifter, black wheels, branded floor mats and a “TOYOTA” grille badge to remind you of their classic trucks. The TRD Pro Series vehicles will be offered in a new “Inferno” red paint colour shown above, as well as black and white.

The Toyota Tundra also gets softer TRD springs with a two-inch lift and more wheel travel, 18-inch wheels with Michelin ORP tyres, a TRD dual exhaust, and a unique interior with red contrast stitching. And no, it doesn’t seem to have enough modifications to be a Ford Raptor rival.

The Toyota Tacoma gets softer springs with a 2-inch lift and more wheel travel, 16-inch beadlock wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres, and a TRD catback exhaust.

Toyota TRD Pro Series 2014 5

The Toyota 4Runner gets a 1.5-inch lift with more wheel travel, 17-inch TRD wheels and bumper accents, but a TRD exhaust is not available.

These already-tough trucks are basically being offered with minor TRD upgrades that you can probably buy separately and create your own. None of that matters anyway, since they’re not coming to our shores any time soon, except as dubious grey imports.

  1. What is wheel travel ?

  2. That’s a sick imitation of Ford range (Raptor and F150). Apparently no could notice that because of it’s Toyota. If it were the Koreans, people would have said something else!!

  3. Seriously?? How don’t knwo how pricey this TRD package is, but the only real must have when you think TRD is their Supercharger and I do not see it anywhere here. 1.5″ / 2″ lift? anybody can achieve it with spring spacers or a leveling kit or even with longer springs. More wheel travel? Well if you add longer springs with bigger shocks you’ll get more wheel travel, the question are the CV joints coming with more angle. Moreover, are we talking about Prerunner like wheel travel, or just a little extra?
Proper offroad rims can be purchased anywhere, catback exhaust would anyway be better with any specialized exhaust manufacturer and I prefer not to talk about the floor mat or the “inferno” color.

  4. Toyota – always best SUV’s

  5. do you know which company importing toyota tundra trd pro to dubai?

  6. Any advice on where I can get a 4runner TRD in the UAE?
