Lotus has officially unveiled the Evora 400, branding it the most powerful production Lotus they have ever built. It is set to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show next month.

The supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine produces about 400 hp, hence the name, and 410 Nm of torque. Power is delivered via an improved 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic transmission. This is enough to propel it from 0-100 kph in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 300 kph.

The aluminium chassis has been redesigned, making it 22 kg lighter than the outgoing model. The suspension has been retuned, along with better brakes, and the manual gearbox models get Limited Slip Differential as standard.

On the outside, the Evora 400 gets a new front bumper with large air intakes, LED daytime running lights, a sporty diffuse, new rear wing, restyled mirrors and 19 or 20-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels

Inside a lot has been improved with a new dashboard, a revised center console and a better instrument cluster. Higher quality materials has been added, along with new front seats and a forged magnesium steering wheel. The infotainment system has been upgraded and the switchgear has been improved as well.

The Lotus Evora 400 should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries before the end of the year.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Lotus Evora buyer guide.
