Bentley has revealed the 2017 Mulsanne facelift model, along with the addition of a new extended-wheelbase variant. It is set to debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The exterior of the new Mulsanne gets a wider front grille with vertical vanes finished in polished stainless steel. The lower grilles also gets a chrome finish. The rear gets a few subtle changes as well.

The interior gets a few more features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and there’s also a 2,200-watt sound system with 20 speakers. As for rear-seat entertainment, there are dual 10.2-inch removable tablets running on Android and equipped with front-facing cameras for video calls.

The Mulsanne Speed has gotten slight tweaks to the steering, air suspension and recalibrated gearbox to improve handling and driving feel.

The main update though, is the addition of the Mulsanne extended-wheelbase edition which adds 250 mm of legroom at the back, allowing passengers to relax better on the reclining seats. The rear centre-console is also slightly different compared to the other two models, and there is a bigger sunroof as well.

Under the hood, power remains the same with the turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 engine producing 505 hp and 1020 Nm of torque, whereas the Mulsanne Speed churns out 530 hp and 1100 Nm of torque.

Expect the 2017 Bentley Mulsaane to come to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries sometime later this year.

  1. Any 50 people to volunteer here – so we can try selling EVERYTHING we have and buy this Bentley? All 50 of us will be able to drive it for 7 days/year. Not bad I think….

  2. Can’t understand why anyone buy it over RR Phantom.
