2020 Toyota Supra photos leaked ahead of Detroit Auto Show
A couple of photos of the highly anticipated 2020 Toyota Supra has made its way online ahead of its January 14th launch at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show.
While the concept featured a very curvy design, the final iteration of the Supra looks to be more sober. The front still looks quite aggressive with the bumper getting three massive air vents.
The roof gets the twin bubble design seen in the concept, while the rear features a diffuser surrounding two round tailpipes. The front wheel arches and bulging rear fenders give it a nice wide stance.
It’s safe to say it doesn’t look like the BMW Z4 at all, with whom it shares its platform with.
Under the hood, it will get the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-6 cylinder engine, mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. It will produce 380 hp and 500 Nm of torque, enough to propel it from 0 to 100 kph in less than 5 seconds. A 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine will soon follow.
