2022 Lincoln Navigator gets refreshed

Lincoln Navigator is a behemoth of an SUV filled to its brim with leather and technology. Now for 2022, the Navigator dresses up with a facelift.

This facelift of the Navigator is more evident with the chrome nose larger than before. The headlights are now new pixel projector units. At the rear, Lincoln inverts the entire tail light assembly vertically. The chrome embellishment that was placed above the long red strip moves under it.

Inside, there are no radical changes. The touchscreen has grown to 13.2 inches. The air vents have grown a little too. A new 5.8-inch screen gives the rear passengers control over the media, air-con, and seat settings. There are more trim options as well, increasing the customization options inside the Navigator.

The SYNC4 system from Ford gets a special theme, Constellation, to make it stand out from the regular Ford Expedition. Other features in its bag include Amazon Alexa compatibility, massaging for front and second-row passengers, and an upgraded rear entertainment system.

The biggest tech inside the 2022 Lincoln Navigator is a driver-assist tech called ActiveGlide. This system allows the driver to go completely hands-free on selected highways in the US. Other driver-assist features like Active Park Assist 2.0, Intersection Assist, etc are all offered as standard.

The 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine soldiers on but with 10 hp less than before. The output is rated at 440 hp. The pricing for the new Navigator will arrive later on.
