2023 Toyota Prius Hybrid and Prime Plug-in-hybrid debuts
Toyota Prius is one of the most hated and loved motor cars of all time. While the eco-friendly folk loved this hybrid, the remaining car folk hated it, mostly for its uninspiring design and lacklustre powertrain. Now, here is the 2023 Toyota Prius Hybrid and the 2023 Toyota Prius plug-in-hybrid to change this status quo.
Toyota Prius grows in size
If the design was the most criticized aspect of the first four generations of the Prius, the 2023 Toyota Prius might just change it. Though beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, the 2023 Toyota Prius is arguably the best-looking Prius ever. Built on the second-gen TNGA-C platform, the new Prius grows 50.8 mm longer and 25.4 mm wider than the current model.
The windscreen rake is longer, giving the 2023 Toyota Prius the appeal of a coupe. The height is lowered by 50 mm, which helps amplify this appeal. The design is contemporary and pretty decent. The thin C-shaped headlamps bordering the narrow grill give the front fascia a new identity. A long light bar brings the rear up to speed with many modern cars. Large 19-inch wheels fill in the wheel arches nicely. The overall design has an air of the Toyota bZ4X electric crossover.
The Interior is yet another space of the 2023 Toyota Prius that you can see a new design. Toyota’s Island Architecture design language is employed here. The instrument display juts out of the dashboard behind the steering wheel, while a floating 12.3-inch infotainment display sits above narrow AC vents.
Toyota Prius performance
In the United States, the 2023 Toyota Prius Hybrid and Prime plug-in hybrid gets a 2.0-litre engine along with a new lithium-ion battery pack. In the regular Hybrid model, this combo produces 194 hp, which can power the vehicle from 0 to 100 kph in a little over 7.4 seconds. This is a massive leap from the 10 sec+ time of the current FWD model.
Speaking of front-wheel-drive, the 2023 Toyota Prius is also available as an all-wheel-drive model. This model gets an interior permanent magnet motor driving the rear wheels. The total output rises to 196 hp.
As it is a Prius, the fuel economy is one number that we cannot miss. It, of course, delivers it in spades. The FWD Hybrid model of the 2023 Toyota Prius will only sip through 4.12 litres of fuel every 100 km.
The 2023 Toyota Prius Prime plug-in-hybrid ups the ante a bit more with 220 hp. This also drops the 0 to 100 kph run time to just over 6.8 seconds. It also increases the electric-only range by more than 50 percent over the outgoing model but exact figures are not available yet. A solar roof comes as an option.
When is it launching in UAE? Expected pricing?
What’s the tentative scheduled for UAE launch.
Why is this region so slow to adopt plugin hybrids. Considering the geography of land and major population cannot have a home electric charger. Plugin hybrids are much sensible middle ground for BEV.
One cars Pakistan please infrom total price

Hi,i’m looking how much further in km i could go? When company improves in a car,it is not how fast it could go ..who cares..if i was a German definitely ..i could go as fast as i want but unfortunately i live in Canada,so why do you think going fast out on a corner to show …anyone can do that…not too many try to show how much you save…are we in another world or what…going electricity…when the mileage will get close to 1200 km a tank, that is when it will be ok for us in winter without stopping every 4 hours to charge a waste time in your life that will never come back otherwise might as well stay home or ride an electric bicycle and enjoy your surroundings, it is as pretty as anywhere else in the world and on top Quebec have leaves in colour + maple syrup..!not too many places gets that…It is a nice car the Prius mine is 2014,with 650,000km and runs good…you run the car like hell..! you will end up in hell ! it is not so good for a company, but i can say it is a good car…the ones in 2023 how good will it be..for me the looks..no…how much km will i do on a gas tank ? so you want comments…you have my opinion would like to have a follow up from you…the company Toyota.
