Swaidan Trading launches premium SUV brand GWM TANK in the UAE
Swaidan Trading, a division of Al Naboodah Group and authorized dealers of Great Wall Motors in the UAE, unveiled their new premium off-road SUV brand, TANK. The stylish cars were presented to the public at a captivating event in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, attended by journalists, influencers, and key professionals in the automotive industry.
Swaidan Trading has recently opened two new showrooms for their GWM brand: on Al Wahda St., Sharjah, and on Ittihad Road, Deira, where the latter is dedicated to the TANK brand. Furthermore, to supplement the growing demand in the region, GWM has also opened a regional parts distribution centre in Jebal Ali, which will be responsible for ensuring the seamless supply of spare parts, accessories, and technical support for their cars.

Great Wall Motors’ brands, Haval and POER, have grown into distinctive identities in the UAE with their range of high-performing SUVs and commercial/lifestyle pick-ups. TANK, meanwhile, has been the highly anticipated entry into the country, especially after creating an impressive reputation in Saudi Arabia. TANK will have its official launch events in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain in the next couple of weeks.

Luxury and rugged SUVs
The TANK 500 is a large luxury SUV that defines a new category in the luxury off-road SUV market. This model offers impressive power with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine, intelligent off-road capabilities, and exceptional comfort and safety. TANK 300, on the other hand, offers more of a rugged appeal, along with a more versatile driving experience.
Mr Gautam Arun, Product Director of GWM in the Middle East region, kicked off the event by highlighting TANK’s intelligence, luxury, and comfort. He also thoroughly depicted the strengths of the GWM TANK 500 to the audience. “TANK 500 possesses both urban and off-road attributes, owing to its advanced technology that provides an exceptional balance between performance and comfort,” said Gautam.

The TANK 500 has a starting price of AED 175,000, while the TANK 300 is available from AED 125,000.
