GMC Sierra JIMS Edition debuts in the Middle East with region-inspired design

GMC has introduced a new special edition of its popular full-size pickup, the GMC Sierra JIMS Edition, tailored specifically for the Middle East. Nicknamed “JIMS” in the region, the truck celebrates the lifestyle and rugged landscapes of the GCC with unique styling and off-road-ready upgrades.

Based on the Sierra Elevation trim, the JIMS Edition is powered by a 5.3-litre V8 engine producing 355 hp and 583 Nm of torque. It keeps the Sierra’s familiar outlook while adding a host of custom features exclusive to this limited run.

On the outside, the JIMS Edition features unique decals inspired by the Middle East’s topography, along with exclusive badging on the grille, tailgate, and interior. It also sports bold custom mouldings, distinctive wheels, and exclusive design finishes that give it a more aggressive look.

This edition is more than just a visual upgrade. It’s designed to handle serious off-road duties with:

• Underbody skid plates

• 18-inch off-road tires or optional 22-inch wheels (Crew Cab only)

• Dual exhaust outlets

• Spray-in bedliner for added durability

Inside, the cabin is well-equipped, featuring a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. GMC’s OnStar system is also included, offering 24/7 advisor access and emergency assistance across the region.

GMC says the JIMS Edition pays tribute to the adventurous spirit and resilience of drivers in the GCC. It also comes with exclusive collectables and limited-edition accessories for fans looking to stand out.
