Bugatti Tourbillon

All-new Bugatti Tourbillon revealed, and we got an exclusive up-close look in Dubai

The Bugatti Chiron’s replacement was recently launched, and it’s called the Bugatti Tourbillon. The French hypercar brand, now under the Bugatti Rimac banner, unveiled its latest creation a few months ago. We had the exclusive opportunity to see the prototype model up close and personal at a private preview in Dubai.

Named after the intricate rotating mechanism found in luxury watches, the Tourbillon blends traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge hybrid performance. At first glance, it retains the familiar Bugatti design language, but everything is sharper, sleeker, and more refined. Redesigned headlamps flank the trademark horseshoe grille, while the rear gets an aggressive LED light bar stretching across the width.

The biggest headline is under the hood. The Tourbillon ditches the Chiron’s quad-turbo W16 engine in favour of a new 8.3-litre naturally aspirated V16, developed in partnership with Cosworth. It’s paired with a three-motor hybrid setup, pushing combined output to a staggering 1,800 horsepower.

Bugatti says the car will still deliver the brutal acceleration expected from the brand, which is said to be 2.0 seconds from 0 to 100 kph, while offering improved efficiency and electric-only capability for city driving.

It can do about 60 km in electric-only mode. Top speed is electronically limited to 380 kph and goes further up to 445 kph with the “Speed Key”.

Inside, the Tourbillon continues the brand’s obsession with craftsmanship. The cabin features mechanical analog dials inspired by Swiss watchmaking, mounted on a floating glass cluster. From our brief private session with the prototype model at the Dubai showroom, we can confirm the details are absolutely exquisite. Real metal components, crystal-clear surfaces, and a layout unlike anything else on the market.

Production of the Bugatti Tourbillon will be limited to 250 units globally, with the first customer deliveries expected to begin in 2026. Pricing is around AED 16 million in the UAE.
