JETOUR G700 Makes Global Debut in Dubai

JETOUR has officially launched its all-new G700 SUV at a high-profile global premiere held at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The UAE served as the stage for this world debut, underlining the Middle East’s importance as a key growth market for the Chinese automaker.

Built on GAIA – JETOUR’s Most Advanced Platform

The G700 is the first model to be developed on JETOUR’s new GAIA Architecture, a next-generation platform designed specifically for hybrid off-road vehicles. The platform supports advanced features such as up to 350 mm of ground clearance, tank-turning, crab-walk mode, satellite communication, and an AI-driven cockpit.

Two innovative powertrain systems underpin GAIA: the iDM-O Super Hybrid System, tuned for efficiency and off-road durability, and the iEM-O Amphibious System, which delivers ultra-high torque for extreme conditions — including water crossings.

G700 – Jetour’s Flagship SUV

As JETOUR’s flagship, the G700 combines futuristic technology with serious performance. Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors, delivering close to 900 hp. It also debuts the industry’s first dual-speed hybrid DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission), blending performance with efficiency.

JETOUR claims the G700 is engineered not only for luxury on-road driving but also for uncompromising off-road performance, something that will be closely watched in the UAE’s desert dunes and mountain wadis.

Exterior

The JETOUR G700 makes a bold first impression with a large front grille, Matrix LED headlights, and sharp body lines said to be inspired by natural landscapes. Built on a body-on-frame platform, the SUV measures 5153 mm long, 2050 mm wide, and 1960 mm tall, riding on a 2850 mm wheelbase with 230 mm of ground clearance.

A panoramic sunroof comes standard on COM and MID trims, upgraded to a segmented version in the LUX, while power-folding mirrors and side steps (fixed on COM/MID, electric on LUX) add convenience. Wheel sizes range from 18 to 20 inches, with all-terrain tyre options available to match the G700’s off-road focus.

Interior & Technology

Inside, the JETOUR G700 takes a tech-forward approach with a 35.4-inch panoramic digital display, a large 15.6–15.8-inch central touchscreen (depending on trim), and in LUX models, a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen for passengers.

Seating configurations include both 2+3 and 2+2+2 layouts, with features such as electric adjustment, heating, and lumbar support in the front, plus massage and memory functions in higher trims. MID and LUX models add electric second-row seats with leg rests, while the flagship LUX trim goes further with an electric third row.

Entertainment is equally premium, starting with a 12-speaker system on COM models and moving up to an 18-speaker Lexicon setup with Dolby Atmos in the LUX, creating an immersive audio experience for every seat.

More Future Launches

Following the G700, JETOUR plans to expand the GAIA-based lineup with the larger G900 and the F700, although launch dates for those models have not yet been confirmed.

GCC a Priority Market

JETOUR is placing a strong emphasis on the Middle East, with the UAE and Qatar highlighted as priority markets in its global “Travel+” strategy. The brand sold more than 560,000 vehicles worldwide in 2024, marking an 80.3% year-on-year increase, and is accelerating its new energy vehicle roadmap.

The UAE has already seen the arrival of the JETOUR T2 i-DM earlier this year. With the launch of the G700, local buyers will now have access to the brand’s most advanced SUV yet — combining hybrid innovation, luxury, and extreme off-road performance to take on established competitors in the GCC’s highly competitive SUV segment.
