DEEPAL G318 Launched in the UAE

Building on the regional success of the S05 and S07, DEEPAL – the electric mobility brand under Changan Automobile – has expanded its UAE line-up with the launch of the new DEEPAL G318. The model made its local debut on November 18 at Nara Oasis, within Dubai’s Nara Desert Escape, in partnership with Al Tayer Motors, its exclusive importer-distributor.

The G318 is positioned as a rugged SUV featuring the brand’s Super Hybrid Technology and a bold, geometric design language. Designed to perform both in the city and across off-road terrain, it combines dual-motor all-wheel drive performance with a range-extended hybrid system that delivers an EV-like driving experience. DEEPAL claims a 0–100 kph time of 5.9 seconds and one of the world’s highest fuel-to-electric conversion efficiencies at 3.63 kWh per litre.

The model features a “Meteorolite Cutting” exterior design, a high-tech cabin with a large central display, ambient lighting, and extensive sound insulation. Ride comfort is enhanced through a Magic-Carpet Suspension setup that combines CDC adaptive damping, air suspension, and active terrain scanning. The ET Intelligent All-Terrain System automatically adjusts powertrain, suspension, and differential settings based on driving conditions.

Safety equipment includes eight airbags, a 540° panoramic camera, and a suite of driver-assistance systems such as Integrated Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Side Warning, and Lane Change Assist. The smart cockpit supports online navigation, remote mobile functions, and bilingual voice commands (English and Arabic), complemented by a DEEPAL branded sound system.

The G318 also features Changan’s Golden Shield Battery, which the brand says has recorded zero spontaneous-combustion incidents across more than 400,000 units globally. The battery is covered by a lifetime warranty, while the vehicle receives a six-year/150,000 km warranty in the UAE.

The DEEPAL G318 is now available in the UAE with prices starting from AED 129,900.
