2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric Revealed, Public Debut at Icons of Porsche, Dubai

Porsche has officially lifted the covers off the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric. The all-electric Cayenne will make its world public debut this weekend in Dubai, UAE, at the Icons of Porsche event, giving regional buyers an early look at what is now the most powerful production Porsche ever made.

Supercar Performance, SUV Practicality

Two models launch the electric lineup: the Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric, both equipped with all-wheel drive and Porsche Traction Management (ePTM).

Cayenne Turbo Electric
- Up to 1140 hp with Launch Control
- 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds
- Top speed: 260 km/h
- Up to 1,500 Nm of torque

The entry model produces up to 436 hp with Launch Control and sprints from 0–100 kph in 4.8 seconds.

The Cayenne Electric also achieves up to 600 kW of recuperation, reaching energy recovery levels comparable to Formula E cars. In everyday driving, Porsche says 97% of braking can be handled by the electric motors alone.

Up to 642 km of Range and Ultra-Fast Charging

Powering the SUV is a new 113 kWh battery, supported by 800-volt architecture and double-sided cooling for improved thermal stability.

Range: Up to 642 km (Cayenne Electric) / 623 km (Turbo)
Charging: Up to 390 kW DC (and under specific conditions, up to 400 kW)
10% to 80% charge in under 16 minutes
Up to 325 km of range added in just 10 minutes

This makes the Cayenne Electric one of the fastest-charging SUVs on the market.

New Design, Bigger Cabin, More Comfort

Visually, the Cayenne Electric adopts a sleeker, more aerodynamic look with a drag coefficient of just 0.25. Highlights include slim Matrix LED headlights, frameless doors, a redesigned rear light bar, and active aerodynamic elements such as an adaptive roof spoiler and rear aeroblades.

The SUV is also 55 mm longer, with a significantly increased wheelbase (+130 mm), giving passengers more rear legroom. Practicality improves with:

Interior highlights include Mood Modes, a panoramic roof with Variable Light Control, new panel heating, and an extended range of customisation.

Largest Display Area in Any Porsche

The new Porsche Driver Experience introduces a curved OLED “Flow Display,” a 14.25-inch digital cluster, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display—the largest combined display area ever fitted to a Porsche. A new AR-enabled head-up display and AI-powered Voice Pilot further elevate the tech offering.

Flexible Future: Electric, Hybrid and Combustion to Coexist

Porsche confirmed that the Cayenne Electric joins, rather than replaces, the current combustion and hybrid Cayenne lineup. The brand will continue to offer all three powertrain types globally well into the next decade.

Dubai to Host the First Public Appearance

The Porsche Cayenne Electric will make its first public debut on 22 November 2025 in Dubai at the Icons of Porsche event, reflecting the UAE’s importance as a high-performance and luxury EV market. Porsche Connect services are also now officially supported in the UAE and South Africa, enhancing connected services for customers.
