The T8 Concept was showcased as part of Jetour’s broader push to strengthen its SUV portfolio, sitting alongside models like the T2 and other upcoming products built around the brand’s “Travel+” strategy, a focus on lifestyle-oriented vehicles that blend practicality with modern technology.
Positioned as a larger, premium SUV
The Jetour T8 appears to be positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, aimed at buyers looking for more interior space and road presence than compact crossovers. The design follows Jetour’s latest styling direction, featuring a bold front grille, squared-off proportions, and a more upright stance that aligns with current SUV trends.
While full production specifications have not yet been confirmed, early information from show floor coverage suggests the Jetour T8 could be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine integrated into a hybrid-oriented system, producing around 254 hp. The model is also expected to be based on Jetour’s GAIA architecture, with a focus on off-road capability, although full production specifications are yet to be officially confirmed.
Inside, displays at the event indicate a three-row seating layout accommodating up to seven passengers. The cabin features a large central infotainment screen alongside a fully digital instrument cluster, pointing towards a tech-focused interior setup.
