Nissan to export all-new Nissan Navara PRO from China to the Middle East

Following its global debut, Nissan has confirmed that the all-new Nissan Navara PRO pickup will be exported from China to multiple international markets, with the Middle East identified as a key destination. The model marks a significant milestone under the brand’s Re:Nissan global strategy, becoming the first Nissan vehicle manufactured in China to be introduced to the region.

Middle East a priority under Re:Nissan strategy

Under its global roadmap, Nissan is increasing focus on the Middle East by prioritising large SUVs while also evaluating high-quality, China-built products to complement its regional line-up. The Navara PRO fits into this strategy as a dual-purpose pickup aimed at both commercial fleet operators and private buyers.

The model builds on the Navara’s long-standing presence in the region, backed by more than two decades of market history and multiple generations of development. Nissan says the new pickup will be offered with two internal combustion engine (ICE) variants, focusing on durability, usability and everyday practicality.

Built for fleets and lifestyle buyers

Positioned as a versatile workhorse, the Navara PRO is engineered to meet the demands of high-usage fleet environments while also offering a more refined experience for retail customers. Nissan highlights its ability to transition between heavy-duty commercial use and recreational off-road driving, reflecting the diverse needs of Middle East buyers.

Senior executives from Nissan emphasised the importance of the model within the company’s regional growth plans, describing it as a key product in expanding the brand’s footprint across both fleet and lifestyle segments.

Rugged design with a modern cabin

Styled around a “Rugged Tech” design philosophy, the Navara PRO adopts a bold exterior with a strong, muscular stance. Inside, the cabin is designed to offer a balance of durability and comfort, with a focus on usability for long working hours as well as family use.

The pickup has also been extensively tested to handle the region’s demanding climate and terrain conditions, with Nissan confirming that validation programmes were carried out to ensure reliability in high temperatures and off-road environments.

Part of wider regional product push

The Navara PRO arrives as part of a broader product offensive by Nissan in the Middle East. Recent launches include the latest generation of the Nissan Patrol, along with new variants such as the PRO-4X and the high-performance NISMO version.

The brand has also expanded into new segments with models like the Nissan Magnite and the all-new Nissan Kicks, reflecting a strategy aimed at covering a wider range of customer needs.

China-built for global markets

The Navara PRO is produced by Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd, Nissan’s joint venture in China, and represents the first pickup developed and manufactured there for global export.

Further details, including full technical specifications and launch timing for the Middle East, are expected to be announced at a later stage.
