Full-size sedans take a back seat to midsizers and compacts in the UAE, but they’re big business in Saudi Arabia, the largest automotive market in the GCC. And the Americans are especially good at building big sedans. The 2014 Chevrolet Impala is a very important car for General Motors, and the importance they gave it is apparent from the first time you lay your eyes on one.
A couple of new cars were launched in the last few weeks and a couple of cars will be launched in the coming few weeks, almost all fresh nameplates for the GCC, and all revealed at events in the UAE.
The new version of the Chevrolet Impala, one of the icons of the 60’s and 70’s, made its New York Auto Show debut earlier this month. Ridiculously dubbed as a 2014 model, it is all set to replace its crude predecessor which made its appearance back in 2006.
