Chevrolet Middle East has officially revealed the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban in Saudi Arabia. Both full-size SUVs are set to arrive in regional showrooms in the coming weeks. As two of the most popular large SUVs in the Middle East, the new Tahoe and Suburban build on their legacy with a bolder design, enhanced technology, and improved performance.
The Chevrolet Tahoe is probably GM’s best known SUV. As one of most popular big SUV’s in this region, this latest generation of the Tahoe is a long time coming, especially as the outgoing model was left wanting while its rivals transformed into near-luxury vehicles.
For the 2019 model year, Chevy launched an all-new Silverado truck. So it was just a matter of time that those changes trickled down to the big SUVs in their lineup. And here they are, the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban.
The Chevrolet Tahoe got updated features for 2017, including front active aero shutters for better aerodynamics on the highway, optional Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking and standard cooled/heated front seats. There is also this Midnight Edition package available now in UAE, KSA and other GCC countries.

The Tahoe is a major bread-and-butter model for General Motors. Starting life in the 1990s, it forms the basis for a few other similar models from GMC and Cadillac, although the original bowtie version remains the best-seller in the GCC region. And the new 2015 model is on track to continue the nameplate’s local legacy, as an alternative for those who can’t afford a Toyota Land Cruiser.
The redesigned 2015 models of the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Chevrolet Suburban, the GMC Yukon, the GMC Yukon XL and the GMC Yukon Denali have been revealed.
General Motors is recalling as many as 69,000 of their 2013 full-size SUVs, pickups and vans that could shift out of “Park” by itself and roll away. The recall includes everything based on the GMT900 platform, which includes the Cadillac Escalade; the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban and Tahoe; and the GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
General Motors is recalling 1.5 million vehicles, across their Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer and other brands, because of a potential fire risk due to faulty heated windshield washer nozzles. This includes 22,500 cars in the Middle East, of which 6,000 are in the UAE.
As part of the “Tahoe Adventure Weekend,” where we hung out at the Le Meridien Al Aqah till last Sunday morning, we were each sent home to Dubai with a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe to try out. I had picked the LTZ 4×4 model, and ended up keeping it right till this Thursday.
