Infiniti G37 2009 sedan now in UAE and GCC

The 2009 Infiniti G37 sedan is finally on sale in the UAE and other GCC countries. While it looks exactly the same as the outgoing G35, it receives a new engine and auto gearbox this year.

The sedan now receives the 330 hp 3.7-litre V6 with variable-valve timing from the G37 coupe, but with the addition of a brand new 7-speed automatic gearbox, mated to a rear-wheel-drive platform.

Standard features include the Infiniti Intelligent Key with smart access and push button starter, a 6-CD, ten-speaker Bose premium audio system with MP3 playback and an auxiliary-in audio jack socket, Bluetooth, cruise control, power front seats, auto-dimming rear view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers, 18-inch alloy wheels, six airbags and integrated fog lamps.

Optional extras include African Rosewood inserts for the cabin, sunroof, and DVD-based navigation.

We hear the G37 sedan is priced at more than Dhs 170,000 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi which, at about Dhs 40,000 more, is a fair bit higher than the value-packed pricing of the former G35.

I looked up the specs, and it looks like the G37 Coupe already got a 7-speed for 2009. Bet you didn’t know that as a fan, haha! Also, it looks like I will be writing a review for the outdated 5-speed car.

  5. WHAT…are you talking to me^^^^^^?!?!?!?!
    man….no way i dont know that the G37 coupe has 7 speeds…
maybe you got me wrong..i meant the new sedan is faster than the coupe …not becasue of the trany…but becasue of the weight…the acc to 100 is almost the same but after that the sedan will be faster…becasue in nissan arabia forum we noticed that the old G35 sedan can go head to head with the G37 coupe with its old 3.5 and 5 speeds trany…now with the same engine and trany…i advice to go for the sedan…loooooool…
