New Honda VFR 1200F motorcycle for 2010

2010 Honda VFR 1200F
Honda has unveiled their all-new 2010 VFR 1200F motorcycle. Underneath the extensive bodywork is a vacuum-molded cast aluminium chassis and a 1,237 cc V4 engine that is good for 172 hp at 10000 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at a screaming 8750 rpm. That is just insane for a two-wheeler.

A 43mm upside-down “fork” is fitted up front and adjustable for preload, while a single shock featuring Honda’s Pro-Link system, and equipped with 25 preload positions, is mounted at the rear. With a claimed weight of only 270 kg, the new VFR is on the heavy side in terms of motorbike weight.

A dual-clutch gearbox and cylinder deactivation technologies are expected to be extra-cost options.

The uniquely-styled bike is debuting at the upcoming 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. After churning out sleep-inducing cars for the last few years, it looks like Honda fans have to resort to bikes if they want to keep the flame alive.

  1. This thing has the exact engine as a Toyota Yaris but with less weight and more horse-power.

  2. Awesomeeee Bikeee

  3. Too heavy, butt ugly, that exhaust must go, it cries out for a tail tidy and a carbon front mudguard. What else can we remove to make it lighter.

Otherwise I’ll vertainly have one. Please sell it without the exhaust and mudgaurd because only the police will want that crap.
