Chrysler & Jeep recall for six 2010 models

Chrysler has issued a recall for six different 2010 models in the United States. More than 40,000 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles are affected by a problem where drivers might be able to remove the key from the ignition before the vehicle is shifted into ‘Park,’ which could cause the vehicle to run away on its own.

This latest recall affects 2010 model-year Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles including the 300, Challenger, Charger, Ram, Commander and Grand Cherokee, as reported by the U.S. NHTSA safety agency. Owners can have this problem fixed at U.S. dealership free of charge. Owners in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries should contact their local dealer and hound them, although keep in mind that some GCC-spec models come from Austria instead of the United States.
