Abu Dhabi Motors sells most Rolls-Royce cars in a month

Despite prevailing economic challenges, Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, has defied the odds by recording outstanding half year sales and selling the most Rolls-Royce Motor Cars ever in one month – with most of the vehicles sold being bespoke models.

During the month of June, eighteen Rolls Royce Phantom and Ghost motor cars were sold. Sales for the exclusive dealer have increased by more than two hundred per cent in the first six months of 2010 in comparison to the same period in 2009. This achievement was particularly attributed to the arrival of the new Rolls-Royce Ghost and sustained demand for unique Bespoke Phantom vehicles.

Currently Abu Dhabi Motors is investing in building an 894 square metre dedicated Rolls-Royce showroom that is due to be completed next year. It will comprise of state of the art facilities aimed at delivering a broadened Rolls-Royce experience to its sophisticated clientele.

“To achieve this milestone result despite the tough market challenges we have faced in the past year is a testament to the outstanding product and customer services provided by the team at Abu Dhabi Motors. We have a strong and resilient Rolls-Royce dealership led by Kadhim Al Helli that delivers this magnificent luxury brand to some of the most discerning clientele in the world,” explained Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors. With our sales result we are year to date the top-selling upper luxury brand in Abu Dhabi as well as the second best selling Rolls-Royce dealership in the world.”

Commenting on reaching this latest milestone, Kadhim Al Helli, Rolls-Royce Brand Manager at Abu Dhabi Motors said: “Rolls-Royce is the ultimate mark of achievement and distinction. These vehicles epitomise the very best in craftsmanship, engineering, driveability and exclusivity. In short, this result represents excellence which Abu Dhabi Motors is renowned for.”

Since its inception, Abu Dhabi Motors has focussed on the individual wishes and demands of Rolls-Royce customers. The Rolls-Royce Bespoke programme helps customers realise the particular vision they have for their own Rolls-Royce. This is underpinned by the fact that Abu Dhabi Motors was again in the first half of 2010 selling the richest bespoke specifications worldwide, where every Phantom handed over to a customer was a bespoke product.

The Phantom family has grown from one to four models, including the convertible Phantom Drophead Coupé in 2007 and the Phantom Coupé in 2008. Meanwhile the Ghost, Rolls- Royce’s most powerful model launched late last year, is the brand’s more contemporary model. Projecting an informal presence, the exceptional demand for the Ghost has assisted in contributing to this milestone achievement.

Rolls-Royce sets the ultimate standard for effortless luxury and exclusivity, standing apart through a combination of elite craftsmanship and heritage. Each new car can be personalised to the owner’s individual requirements, a unique creation that represents a milestone in achievement.
