Arabian Automobiles launches 2011 Infiniti QX and new showroom

Arabian Automobiles launched the all-new 2011 Infiniti QX flagship SUV last night and confirmed that a new showroom dedicated to the Infiniti brand is now under construction on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The addition of the QX SUV continues the rapid expansion in the Japanese automotive luxury brand’s product range in the Middle East which was recently joined by the stylish Infiniti G37 Convertible model in March 2010.

Speaking at the launch event at Emirates Towers, Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles commented “The Infiniti brand continues to go from strength to strength and the new QX sets a new standard in luxury SUVs. It provides a breathtaking exterior form that is backed by a world-class travel experience with intuitive functionality that anticipates the passengers’ needs. A barrage of new technologies in the QX will ensure an ‘in control’ driving experience which is reinforced by the vehicle’s raft of passive and active safety features.”

“With a strong customer base for the brand in Dubai we are also announcing today the construction of a dedicated Infiniti showroom which is already in build on the Sheikh Zayed Road” he continued. The over 14,000 sq.ft. showroom will be built to Infiniti’s ‘IREDI’ (Infiniti Retail Environment Design Initiative) standard which places a high degree of focus on customer service. The new showroom is due for completion by the end of Q1 2011 and represents a significant investment for the AW Rostamani Group of companies” he concluded.

2011 Infiniti QX
All new from the platform up, the 2011 Infiniti QX is conceived to attract and hold viewers’ attention, conveying its underlying sense of power and strength. The design is dynamic, its size capable of transporting up to eight adults and their belongings with spacious elegance.

Inside the distinctive QX body is an interior packed with luxury and comfort, including standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Around View Monitor, Bose® 13-speaker Premium Audio System, available perforated semi-aniline leather-appointed seating and a rear DVD entertainment system with dual 7-inch color monitors which allows different sources to be played at the same time. The new QX also offers ample 1st row and 2nd row roominess.

The QX’s high-stiffness frame structure enhances ride comfort while reducing noise, vibration and harshness. The new 5.6-liter V8 engine combines the responsive acceleration of Infiniti’s VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) technology with the efficiency of Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) and 7-speed automatic transmission. With 400 horsepower and 57.1 kg-m of torque, the QX has class-leading outputs while also offering 12% better fuel economy (on US EPA Combined test cycle) than the previous generation QX.

The 2011 QX is offered in four fully equipped models in ‘Excellence’ and ‘Luxury’ specification levels – and with two distinct seating configurations offering either 7 or 8 seats.
