Toyota Land Cruiser gets 2012 facelift
The 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser will receive a minor facelift. Japanese brochure images of the facelifted 4×4 have been floating around for a while now.
Reader Asad Bawaney pointed us to the latest set of leaks on an Arabic Toyota forum, which shows the 2012 Land Cruiser getting new headlights finally available with HID low-beams and integrated LED running lights.
The front bumper and rear tail-light clusters are also new, as are larger available wheels and a host of body-kit options.
The interior remains largely the same, except maybe for new fake-wood colours and upholstery. There also seems to be a surround-view camera option now.
Expect the refreshed model to debut in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and other GCC countries a few months into 2012.

I am sure in UAE, The dealer will charge a bomb for it. The Prado 2012 TX-L top range already has a Price Tag of 170K i.e. 7K increase over 2011 Price for no change in the specifications. The reason given by the sales person is fluctuation in Yen.
So expect even higher Yen Fluctuations when this new Land Cruiser is available.

Now now.. calm down, the facelift is sufficient justification for AlFuttaim to raise the price by another 15-20k atleast. 😛

actually you cant blame the dealer on this one.. i actually did a rough calcuation of Yen increase % with the car prices and it was inline with the increase.
the real cultprit is that UAE DH is pegged to a essentially worthless US dollar. that is the problem

i dont think so they will increase price cause then their sale will be affected,the price rise previuosly was because of floods.

the v6 full option 60y vesion cam in at 208k for 2011 which was already quite hefty..

i heard it will get new v6 271hp and v8 will be only 5.7 replaced by 4.7 because the new v6 is making hp of v6

Its the same V6 engine but with Dual VVT instead of single, that’s why it’ll make ~270HP instead of ~240HP.
