Mercedes-Benz AMG GT debuting in September, reach UAE in 2015
Mercedes-Benz is going to unveil their latest supercar-grade model on September 9th.
The cheaper, indirect replacement for the SLS AMG, unimaginatively dubbed the Mercedes-AMG GT, will pack a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 generating 510 hp at 6250 rpm, and 650 Nm from 1750 to 4750 rpm. There may even be an entry-level version with a lower output of 462 hp, if promo materials are to be believed. And no, it won’t have gullwing doors.
Shown here is the prototype. Expect the production version to reach UAE and other GCC showrooms by summer next year.
